Vaccinations
Vaccinations are important. The term
“preventative medicine” helps us understand the reasoning behind vaccines – they are to prevent disease.
It is true that side effects, although rare, are possible but the effects of disease are much more serious and long lasting.
Diseases like parvo virus are potentially deadly and kennel cough (parainfluenza and bordetella) can lead to ongoing respiratory issues. Common walking areas (eg Nairne Main Rd or Mount Barker's Laratinga Wetlands) are higher risk for disease transmission.
During a vaccination a full examination is performed to help understand those little problems, preventing them from becoming big problems before it's too late
